Cover materials are flexible high-temperature tapes that are pre-sized or slit to accommodate the dimensions of the finished tadpole seal. The cover is sewn with high temperature thread that encapsulates the core resulting in resilient high temperature tadpole gasket tape.

#27-HCM Silicone coated Fiberglass Tadpole Tape
This tadpole gasket tape comes with 304/SS Hollow Core mesh. Superior sealing capability for temperatures up to 500F. The tail or ‘flange’ is used with your flat stock metal to attach to the oven door or application. Generally our tadpole gasket seals are either riveted or bolted in place using the tail, should flat stock be unavailable at your site. PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) is also available to assist in installation only; not as a permanent seal. The PSA helps hold the Tadpole in place while bolting the product down.
**Silicone coating is available for services up to 500F. We always like to offer our 101-MDB-J Overknit wire mesh jacket to fend off abrasion. This jacket always provides more longevity to your Tadpole Gasket Tape once installed.
#201-Silica Tadpole Gasket Tape
The Silica tadpole tape is manufactured with solid or hollow core stainless/Inconel wire cores, 2300F. Generally our tadpole gasket seals are either riveted or bolted in place using the tail, should flat stock be unavailable at your site.

- **Endless seal frames provide optimum sealing, especially at 90 degree angles. Frames are manufactured to customer’s drawing.

TADPOLE GASKET SIZES:
- Sealtherm Corp. caters to all shapes and sizes for your sealing needs.
- Bulb Diameters start at 3/8” – 1”. Diameters above 1” are special runs and generally require longer lead times. Tail lengths can also be made to any length and thickness. All of our tadpole gaskets are carefully sewn with fiberglass thread tight to the bulb to ensure proper sizing and performance. Stitching along tail is also available upon request.
ABRASION RESISTANCE:
**When abrasion proves to be an issue in your application, Sealtherm Corp. offers an abrasion solution. We can apply a wire mesh wrap(inconel or 304/SS) over the tadpole to fend off abrasion and maintain the durability of the tadpole seal.
